SUNDAY KIKI SESSIONS

SUNDAY KIKI SESSIONS are free, drop-in ballroom practice classes focused on runway walking and voguing with the local Kiki House of Majik. They happen every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 1–4pm at Rocky Mountain Equality’s Equality Center of the Rocky Mountains. No RSVP is required—just show up and join in. The sessions are designed for both people already in Ballroom and newcomers who want to learn. You’ll practice skills tied to different “categories” (like Runway, Face, and Performance) in a supportive, communal setting. Experienced community “elders” help guide and coach participants as they build technique and confidence. The goal is to prepare people to “walk” in future Balls while strengthening community solidarity. The program also honors Ballroom’s roots as a vital cultural space created by queer and trans people of color.
