Football Game Day: Smith Alumni Center & Ram Walk Tailgate is a free, all-ages game day hangout in Fort Collins at Canvas Stadium and nearby Intramural Field 2. Head to the Smith Alumni Center (northeast corner of Canvas Stadium) for live music from REMINISCE, CAM the Ram photo ops, TVs showing football, and complimentary cookies and water while supplies last. There’s also a cash bar on-site. About 45 minutes before kickoff, catch the Old Main Bell ringing for a classic CSU tradition. Then swing by the Ram Walk Tailgate on Intramural Field 2 along Meridian Ave. for more free festivities and live music by Bridger Teton. The Ram Walk—featuring the football team and CSU Marching Band—happens roughly 2.5 hours before kickoff, with additional appearances by the band, cheerleaders, and other sport programs. Grab bites from food trucks and purchase drink tickets at the Alumni Association tent. Don’t miss the March to Victory parade about 50 minutes before kickoff, a high-energy lead-in to the game. It’s ideal for fans, alumni, families, and anyone wanting the full pregame atmosphere without a cover charge.
