Job Description

Operator Summary of Duties: The shipping and receiving operator acts as the front-facing warehouse person sitting on both ends of the supply management chain. Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments using the ERP system. · Prepare shipping documents along with the correct shipping labels and ensure all orders and withdrawal requests from inventory are correctly fulfilled. · Consolidate shipping orders. · Reconcile waybill and bill of lading with actual shipment arrivals. · Ensure that goods delivered are in accordance with purchase order requirements. · Perform the unpacking of consolidated shipment deliveries and distribute contents to correct inventory locations. · Maintain accuracy in EPR system so inventory financial reports are accurate · Receives inventory from Shipping Wall in the Visual system as well as move to Warehouse locations. · Perform Cycle Counts on Inventory in stock. · Receive trucks and merchandise from the dock. · Prepare Freight Shipments and coordinate pickups with trucking companies, FedEx, DHL and UPS. · Checks Shipping/Delivery reports daily and ships accordingly. · Periodically deliver parts to companies such as Magpul or Instrutech etc. · Maintain a clean and organized area. · Assist with inventory needs such as boxes, bags, labels etc. · Help maintain a 95% OTD with products being shipped. · Other duties as assigned Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the General public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Fort Lift Certification (Required), Drivers License Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 55 LBS. and stand for long hours in the day.
