Duties • Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites and commercial properties • Support the reading and interpretation of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution • Operate hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and effectively under supervision • Help with welding, pipe fitting, and assembly tasks necessary for plumbing systems installation • Participate in remodeling, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) projects, and general maintenance tasks to broaden your mechanical knowledge • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times • Collaborate with team members on site to complete projects efficiently and accurately Skills • Basic understanding of construction practices and construction plumbing techniques • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems, carpentry, and general maintenance procedures • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to measurements and material estimations • Field service experience or handyman skills are advantageous for versatile project support • Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment This paid apprenticeship is designed to equip you with essential skills for a successful career in plumbing.
