Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Arvada, Colorado. In this role, you will support critical accounting functions, including managing accounts payable and receivable. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while utilizing your expertise in financial systems.Responsibilities:• Process accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.• Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice processing and vendor communications.• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.• Utilize Sage Intacct to manage and update financial data efficiently.• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial statements or transactions.• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and procedures.• Prepare financial reports and summaries as required by management.• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as needed.
