Welder and Fabricator

Automotive Production Welder Well-established Arvada shop with proprietary products in the automotive industry is seeking a full-time Production Welder / Fabricator. Schedule: • Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Requirements : • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) • Minimum of 2 years Tig Welding experience, both steel and aluminum. • Experience fabricating automotive exhaust and intake piping. • Automotive or high performance interest or experience preferred. • Must be able to produce quality products in a fast paced environment. • Ability to operate machines and equipment such as band saws, grinders, shears, sanders, cutoff saws, brakes, drill presses and MIG welders helpful. • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds. Successful candidate will: • Set up and operate Tig Welder. • Perform all duties according to schedule prepared by the Leadman or Supervisor. • Work at pace required that meets or exceeds production deadlines while producing quality work. • Ensure that components are properly fitted to production fixtures and meet specifications; ensure that welds are clean, error free, tack secure, and of quality workmanship. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment; clean work equipment; adhere to all safety policies and procedures. • Ensure completed work is delivered to the proper location. • Maintain confidentiality. Develop alternative solutions; demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles.
