Denver, Colorado Category Security Job Id P-100161 Job Type Full Time $26.78/hr Job Requirements Silverseal is looking for Full Time Security Shift Supervisor that will oversee and manage the daily shift operations at our client location in Denver, CO. Shift Available: 3pm-11pm Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate must possess an energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple assignments that occur on your shift. The candidate must also demonstrate strong customer service skills, with the aptitude to effectively resolve client issues in a professional and service-focused manner remaining capable of de-escalating situations before they heighten. The ability to write effective and concise reports is required as well as possessing a working knowledge of various Microsoft Office Suite software programs. Candidate must be professional, articulate and capable of using good independent judgment and discretion. Candidate must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization. Duties/Responsibilities: • The management, direction and oversight of the security officers regarding their performance and operations. • Assisting, training, and evaluating of the security personnel’s work performance and making recommendations / changes where applicable. • Ensuring that post orders and relative site information is being properly maintained, updated and communicated to all respective parties. • Conducting on-the-job training of security officers which includes, but is not limited to, post order implementations and refreshers, routine responsibility changes, emergency situation responses and specific client needs where applicable. • Responsible for communicating information and receiving various requests from our client, your supervisors and the security officer workforce • Act as the first point of contact for the client and Site Manager. • Liaison with all client departments. • Ensure and reinforce all policies and procedures for the site. • Ensure that all security officers on shift are in possession of required and valid certifications and/or licenses. • Complete, review and submit daily shift reports as required by the Company and the Client. • Ensure all posts are covered with the properly trained and licensed employees • On your assigned shift, you will validate Time & Attendance records to ensure accuracy of data. • To act as a point of contact for reporting any client systems fault (such as fire alarm, security systems), property damage in accordance with the agreed reporting procedure. • To carry out audits of the security operation as instructed by the client or company. • Able to prepare clear concise and grammatically accurate reports of any incidents, violations of regulations, policies and procedures. • Control Room management – To ensure the technical equipment is operating to the full expectation (CCTV audits, Access Control audits, data protection). • Available to work overtime and/or shifts that are outside business hours and are in addition to your work schedule.
