Manager in Training (MIT) – Restaurant General Manager

What You’ll Do • Lead by example on the floor, delivering exceptional hospitality • Drive sales through guest connection, upselling, and service excellence • Train, coach, and inspire a high-performing team • Create a positive, team-first culture rooted in accountability and respect • Oversee inventory, control food costs, and ensure proper ordering and waste management • Manage labor costs through effective scheduling, staffing, and real-time decision making • Own your P&L mindset—drive profitability, control costs, and operate the business like it’s your own • Manage & execute daily procedures & operations in a high-volume restaurant • Confidently lead both Front of House and Back of House teams during peak service • Act as Manager on Duty and take ownership of results What We’re Looking For • Experience in both Front of House and Back of House operations required • Leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment • Strong hospitality expertise and passion for guest experience • A natural leader who leads with kindness, energy, and confidence • Proven ability as a sales builder • Self-motivated, dependable, and growth-minded • Strong understanding of inventory, food cost controls, and labor management Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive salary: $55,000-65,000 + bonus potential • GM after 3 month training program: $65,000-$75,000 + bonus potential • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off • Dining discounts • Clear path to General Manager within 3 months • Work-life balance—we close at 9 PM Why Mici? • Be an integral part of our leadership team • Join a family-first culture—you’re not just joining a company, you’re joining our Mici family If you’re ready to lead, grow, and make an impact—we want to meet you!
