Responsible for collection development and participation in budgeting activities. The salary range for internal candidates is $21.787 to $22.181 per hour. For detailed compensation information, view the Para Salary Schedule . The salary listed reflects the 2025–2026 school year. Salaries for the 2026–2027 school year are typically finalized and released mid-summer, with an effective date of August 1. What You'll Do • Codes, classifies, catalogues, receives, checks out, and shelves library materials • Converts written material to computerized library system • Monitors circulation of library materials and delivers and retrieves library materials • Performs library material inventory, and reconciles discrepancies • Explains basic use of library facilities, resources, equipment, and services and provides library resource location, data search, and service assistance to students and teachers • Assists individuals and small student groups locate library resources and materials • Monitors students at assigned site and reinforces positive student behaviors, enforcing administration policies and rules governing students • Discusses and coordinates instructional efforts with teachers and library staff • Coordinates the classification, indexing, shelving and circulation of books, periodicals, audio-visual and multi-media information What You’ll Need • To see what qualifications are acceptable for this role, please refer to this paraprofessional qualifications guide. • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
