Video Editor & Content Producer | Freelance (20 hrs/week) | Denver-Based (Hybrid) DHC Media is looking for a skilled video editor who moves fast, thinks creatively, and isn't afraid to use AI to work smarter. The Role We need a reliable freelance editor who can handle corporate video projects, internal content, and social media edits with quick, professional turnarounds. This is not a tiny side hustle, we're looking for someone who can consistently protect 20 hours per week for DHC, even while working with other clients. What You'll Work On • Corporate video projects (brand stories, testimonials, internal comms) • Social content (short-form, platform-specific edits: Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) • DHC internal content (behind-the-scenes, educational clips, case studies) • On-camera videography for local shoots as needed (separate from your editing hours — see rates below) What We Need From You • 4+ years of experience in Premiere Pro • Storytelling instinct — you understand pacing, emotion, and keeping viewers watching • Speed + quality — you can move quickly without cutting corners • Deadline discipline is a must; we run on clear project timelines • AI-forward approach — you use AI tools to increase efficiency and output • Comfortable on set as a B-cam / backup videographer (we provide gear, or it's a bonus if you own) Hours, Availability & Pay Editing (primary scope): • Approx. 20 hours per week (~80 hrs/month), ongoing • Primarily Monday–Friday; must respond to email/Slack within 1 business day • This role is designed to coexist with other client work — we just need our 20 hours protected and deadlines met • Pay: $38–$48/hr (1099 contractor), depending on experience and portfolio Videography (as needed, beyond editing hours): • Occasional on-site shoots in the Denver metro area • Scheduled separately and not counted against your 20 editing hours • Pay: $90–$100/hr Logistics • Location: Denver-based (hybrid). Remote editing plus occasional in-person pickups/shoots. • Start: Contract basis, with potential to grow as workload increases.
