Why You’ll Love This Role • Directly support newborn and parent well-being • Work alongside a supportive, passionate, mission-driven team • Enjoy flexible scheduling to balance work and personal life • Opportunity to grow and take on increasing responsibility in a healthcare startup • Mentorship from our IBCLC team, including hands-on preceptor hours for lactation professionals Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Care • Provide empathetic, professional communication with medical providers and new parents • Handle urgent inquiries with compassion and accuracy • Conduct proactive follow-ups to ensure continuity of care Operations & Billing • Process and coordinate breast pump and DME orders using phone, email, and fax, navigating a multi-step procedure with precision to ensure families receive timely support • Manage Medicaid and insurance billing Lactation Services • Schedule in-person and virtual lactation consultations • Coordinate appointments based on patient needs and urgency • Maintain organized systems and clear communication with families and consultants Qualifications • Must hold CLC or IBCLC • Mentorship and preceptor hours available with our IBCLC team • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience • Experience in operations, healthcare administration, or customer service • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail—accuracy is essential to newborn health outcomes • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive) • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage inventory logistics • Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred in our diverse client environment Bonus experience • Healthcare or medical equipment management Schedule & Compensation • Part-time (20 hrs/week) with flexible scheduling • Pay: $25–$55/hour, based on experience and qualifications • Growth opportunities in a mission-driven healthcare startup • Eligible for participation in Colorado SecureSavings retirement plan Work Environment Join a small, passionate, all-women team in a bright and supportive office environment.
