 Do We Reveal

You told us you wanted What’s Happenin’ stickers — so we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on brand-new designs (yes, Rocky may or may not be involved 🐐).

The question is

🎹 Should we reveal the new sticker designs this Wednesday?

đŸŽ„ Banff Film Fest, Workshops & Big Screen Energy

The legendary Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival World Tour lands at the Boulder Theater Feb 16–18, bringing three nights of adventure-packed short films celebrating mountain culture, outdoor grit, and global storytelling. Each night features a different lineup — so yes, going twice is fully justified.

Looking to create instead of just watch? The Boulder County Film Commission is hosting Directing 101: Vision & Craft, a one-day masterclass led by award-winning director Andrea Nordgren, designed for industry pros ready to step into the director’s chair.

Over at the University of Colorado Boulder, the International Film Series continues its Black History Month lineup at Muenzinger Auditorium with powerful screenings like Malcolm X, Dreamgirls, Blindspotting, and Fruitvale Station — plus a filmmaker Q&A.

At the Boedecker Theater, expect indie docs, visionary sci-fi, and “Friday Night Weird” animated adventures. And at the Canyon Theater, catch community screenings of Everything Everywhere All at Once and Moonstruck.

There’s even a local casting call floating around if you’re ready to step in front of the camera.

Boulder isn’t just watching movies this week — it’s building a film community in real time.
