🎻 Kick Off St. Patrick’s Week with Irish Music

🎻 Kick Off St. Patrick’s Week with Irish Music

One of Ireland’s most celebrated traditional bands is bringing the sound of the Emerald Isle straight to Boulder.

☘️ Danú: Traditional Music of Ireland

📍 Macky Auditorium (CU Boulder)

📅 Wednesday, March 11

⏰ 7:30–9:00 PM

🎟️ Starting at $23

Hailing from County Waterford, Danú has become one of the world’s leading Irish traditional ensembles, known for lively performances filled with reels, hornpipes, and timeless folk songs.

Their shows feel less like a concert and more like stepping into a lively Irish pub session—complete with driving fiddle tunes, haunting ballads, and foot-tapping rhythms that have been passed down for generations.

Expect beloved classics like:

🎶 The Foggy Dew

🎶 Ten Thousand Miles

🎶 Mo Ghile Mear

The group’s musicianship and energy have earned them international acclaim, and their performances regularly sell out across Europe and North America.

It’s also part of CU Presents’ long-running Artist Series, which has brought world-class music and performers to Boulder for more than 85 years.

If you want to kick off St. Patrick’s celebrations the authentic way, this is about as close as Boulder gets to Ireland.
