Last month our local newsletters across Boulder, Arvada, Fort Collins, Longmont, and Denver were opened 177,000+ times by locals looking for things to do and places to go.

As we continue to grow, I’m looking to add one or two people to help with partnerships with local businesses.

If you love supporting local businesses and want to help grow these newsletters, just reply to this email and tell me a little about yourself.

šŸŽ Carmen, Reimagined Through Tango

šŸŽ Carmen, Reimagined Through Tango

If you’re looking for a night out that feels a little more electric than your usual plans, this is it.

Parasol Arts: Carmen, the Tango is bringing one of the most iconic love stories to Boulder—but with a bold twist. Instead of traditional opera, this version is told through the fiery, expressive language of Argentine Tango, turning every glance, step, and movement into part of the drama.

Taking place at the Dairy Arts Center (March 26–27 at 8PM), the show follows the story of Carmen—a fiercely independent woman caught in a tangled web of love, jealousy, and fate. What starts as passion quickly spirals into obsession, with a love triangle that doesn’t exactly end peacefully.

Expect:

  • šŸ’ƒ Powerful, story-driven dance performances

  • šŸŽ¶ A mix of music and movement that pulls you in

  • šŸŽ Characters you’ll love… and maybe question

  • šŸ”„ A storyline that builds toward a dramatic, unforgettable finale

With a talented international cast and direction by Lorita Travaglia, this production leans fully into the intensity of tango—making it less of a show you watch, and more of a story you feel.
