Happy Friday, Boulder! šŸŒž

Last month our local newsletters across Boulder, Arvada, Fort Collins, Longmont, and Denver were opened 177,000+ times by locals looking for things to do and places to go.

As we continue to grow, I’m looking to add one or two people to help with partnerships with local businesses.

šŸ—³ Now Voting: Boulder’s Best Breweries šŸ»

Pastries had their moment. Now it’s beer time.

🧠 Need a brain break?

Play trivia, crosswords, and word searches built just for locals. These games aren’t just fun...they’ll test how well you actually know your city. Great for killing time, learning something new, or proving you’re the true local legend.

šŸ½ļø Craving: Gaia Masala & Burger

Where late-night cravings get creative. Gaia Masala & Burger is famous for wild (but somehow perfect) mashups—think tikka masala cheesesteaks, masala fries, and loaded biryani plates. It’s fast, affordable, packed with flavor, and a go-to near campus when you want something different that actually hits.

šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø Boulder Rez Half Marathon

Lace up—it’s race day at the Boulder Reservoir.

The Boulder Rez Half Marathon (plus 10K & 5K options) is one of those events that feels just as good for the vibes as it does for the finish line. Think: wide-open views, crisp spring air, and a course that’s actually enjoyable to run.

šŸ”ļø Why runners love it:

  • Flat dirt trail course (only ~200 ft elevation gain šŸ™Œ)

  • Stunning mountain views the entire way

  • Half marathon = 2 scenic loops, 10K = 1 loop, 5K = alternate route

  • Perfect temps + a super spectator-friendly setup

šŸŽ‰ Bonus: The post-race energy is undefeated—medals, snacks, and that ā€œI earned this brunchā€ feeling.

šŸš“ā€ā™€ļø Eco-Mural Bike Tour

Art, bikes, and a little eco-education? Very Boulder.

This guided ride with Street Wise Arts turns Boulder’s bike paths into a moving gallery. You’ll cruise along greenways and creek corridors while stopping at murals that tell stories about water, environment, and the city itself.

šŸŽØ What makes it special:

  • Stops at locally and nationally created eco-themed murals

  • Guest speakers + artists sharing the meaning behind the work

  • Chill, scenic ride (not a race—promise šŸ˜„)

  • Starts & ends at VisionQuest Brewery

šŸ’” Pro tip: Bring your own bike (or rent one) and snag a spot early—this one’s capped at just 16 riders.
