Happy Wednesday, Boulder! This weekend, the city raises its glass to one of its most anticipated annual celebrations — the Boulder Burgundy Festival, returning October 24–26. Whether you’re a seasoned sommelier or just enjoy a good pour, this event brings the heart of Burgundy to the foothills, pairing world-class wines with equally impressive local cuisine.

From intimate dinners to grand tastings, here’s what’s on the menu for this weekend’s swirl-worthy celebration:

🍽️ Friday, Oct. 24 – “The Hill and the Hearth” Dinner at Basta

Dine alongside Christine Gruère-Dubreuil of Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine at one of Boulder’s most acclaimed restaurants. Expect terroir-driven wines, a refined chef’s menu, and cozy, fire-lit ambiance — a truly rare evening.

🍷 Saturday, Oct. 25 – “Burgundy Meets Corrida” Paulée Lunch

A beloved tradition where fine wine meets fine views. The team at Corrida crafts a French-inspired menu while top sommeliers pour exceptional vintages from across Burgundy — sparkling, white, and red alike.

🥂 Sunday, Oct. 26 – “Beneath the Crown” Seminar & Tasting

12–1:30 PM | $175 | Academy Mapleton Hill

Dive deep into Corton’s vineyards with Christine Gruère-Dubreuil in this educational tasting of Village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru wines. Learn, sip, and explore what makes Burgundy truly timeless.
