Munchkin Masquerade: Boulder’s Sweetest Halloween Tradition

Munchkin Masquerade: Boulder’s Sweetest Halloween Tradition

Halloween is just around the corner, and downtown Boulder is getting ready for one of its most adorable invasions of the year. On Friday, Oct. 31, from 3–6 p.m., Pearl Street Mall transforms into a candy-filled wonderland for little trick-or-treaters (ages 12 and under). Expect tiny superheroes, sparkly princesses, roaring dinosaurs, and more as Boulder’s youngest residents make their way from shop to shop in full costume.

Presented by Elevations Credit Union and hosted by the Downtown Boulder Partnership, Muchkins Masquerade, a family-friendly favorite brings the community together for safe, spooky fun. Official treat stops include local favorites like Boulder Ballet, Fiske Planetarium, the Fire Department at Station 1, and even the Boulder Police Department—so kids can meet real-life heroes while collecting sweet treats.

🧙‍♀️ Pro Tip: Only accept candy from official treat stops—look for signs and check the Downtown Boulder website for the full list before you go!
