Yee-Haw! A Symphony the Kids Will Actually Love đ¤ đś
đś When the Symphony Goes Full Cowboy
Happy Friday, Boulder! đ
If you think orchestras are all whisper-quiet and sit-still serious, this weekend has other plans. A familiar Boulder stage is about to turn into something a little louder, sillier, and way more kid-approved. Trust usâthis is one performance where participation is very much encouraged.

đś Yee-Haw! The Symphony Goes Wild West (For Kids!)
If your kids think orchestras are âquiet and serious,â this show is about to flip that script đ¤ đť The Good, the Bad, & the Music is a laugh-out-loud, Old Westâthemed musical adventure where the orchestra gets literally interrupted by an outlawâand the audience jumps right into the action.
Hosted at Dairy Arts Center, this 45-minute performance is designed for curious kids, energetic families, and first-time symphonygoers. Expect cowboy sing-alongs, clapping, kid conductors, and a whole lot of storytelling as the Sheriff of Musical Harmony tries to wrangle a very dramatic villain (armed with a recorder, no less).
đ¤ What Makes It a Hit With Families
⢠Interactive from start to finish â kids sing, clap, conduct, and join the âposseâ
⢠Big personalities + big laughs â itâs part concert, part musical comedy
⢠Sneaky learning â kiddos learn what a conductor actually does (without realizing it)
