If Denver had a signature winter tradition, this would be it. The National Western Stock Show & Rodeo takes over the National Western Complex from January 10–25, bringing two full weeks of rodeo action, livestock showcases, Wild West history, and kid-approved chaos. Whether you’re here for the bulls, the boots, or the baby goats — this one’s a Mile High classic.

🐂 Rodeo Nights & Big-Time Shows

Expect heart-pounding performances featuring professional bull riders, bronc busting, elite reining horses, and special events like the Denver PBR Chute-Out and Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza. Each performance delivers serious athleticism and old-school Western flair — even if you’ve never owned a cowboy hat.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Fun Is Baked In

Grounds admission unlocks a full day of wandering, watching, and learning. Kids can explore interactive ag exhibits, meet animals up close, and catch crowd-favorite shows like Xtreme Dogs (yes, stunt-jumping pups 🐕) and Stock Dog trials — both a hit with all ages. Bonus points: many activities are FREE with grounds admission.

🎭 Wild West & Feel-Good Moments

Don’t miss the Wild West Shows (Jan 17–18), a fast-paced throwback to Buffalo Bill–era entertainment, complete with legends like Annie Oakley and classic cowboy antics. And mark Jan 20 at 10 AM for the Remarkable Roundup — an adaptive rodeo experience designed for kids with special needs that’s equal parts joyful and heart-warming.

📍 Where: National Western Complex — 4655 Humboldt St, Denver

🗓 When: January 10–25, 2026

🎟 Tickets: Vary by event (grounds admission required for many activities)

👉 Pro tip: Even if you don’t snag rodeo tickets, a grounds-only visit is 100% worth it for the food, animals, and people-watching alone.

Yeehaw, Denver — this one’s a winter staple.
