📸 Denver Through My Lens: The City’s Most Photogenic Spots

Hey Denver ! 🧩🎉

Happy Monday, Ben here! With sunshine almost year-round and the Rockies always photobombing in the background, Denver is basically a photographer’s dream. Lately, I’ve been wandering the city with my camera (and plenty of coffee) to rediscover the spots that make this place so easy to fall in love with. One snapshot at a time.

📸 Picture-Perfect Denver: My Favorite Spots to Snap the City

I’ve been spending more time exploring the city through my camera lens lately (okay, mostly my phone), and it reminded me how many incredible photo ops we have right in our backyard. Here are some of my favorite places to capture that only-in-Denver shot.

🏙️ Downtown & LoDo

📍16th Street Mall

I love walking this stretch on a sunny afternoon — there’s always something happening. Grab a coffee, people-watch, and snap the historic D&F Clocktower or the glowing “DENVER” sign after dark.

🚉 Denver Union Station

This 1914 landmark never misses. The mix of old-school charm and modern LoDo skyscrapers makes for the perfect urban shot. Bonus points if you grab a train or two in the frame.

🛍️ Larimer Square

Victorian buildings, string lights, and street performers — Larimer Square feels like Denver’s living postcard. I like to shoot here at sunset when the lights start to flicker on and the crowd comes alive.

🌊 Confluence Park

This is where Denver’s story started — where Cherry Creek meets the South Platte. It’s also one of my go-tos for skyline photos, especially in the late afternoon when the sun hits those glass towers just right.

🐻 “I See What You Mean” (aka Blue Bear)

Denver’s quirkiest local celebrity. Every time I pass the Convention Center, I can’t resist stopping for another shot of that 40-foot bear peeking in. It’s impossible not to smile at it.

🌀 Meow Wolf Denver

If you’re looking for something a little… out there, this is it. The art, the lights, the chaos — it’s one giant photo playground. I could (and probably have) spent hours trying to capture it all.
