The 48th Denver Film Festival is in full swing, lighting up screens across the city through November 9. Since 1978, this annual celebration of cinema has grown from a small indie showcase to one of the nation’s top film festivals — where storytellers, stars, and movie lovers come together for ten days of pure film magic.

This year’s lineup is packed with over 130 films from around the world — from gripping documentaries to local productions that show off Colorado’s creative side.
