Happy Friday, FoCo !

Easter weekend is sneaking up fast, and Fort Collins is fully leaning into it. Think spring vibes, a little chaos (the fun kind), and plenty of reasons to get out of the house. If you’re wondering what’s actually worth doing this weekend… keep reading.

🍽️ Cravings: Josh & John’s Ice Cream

Creative flavors, homemade waffle cones, and a lineup that never misses. Josh & John’s Ice Cream is a go-to when you want something classic and a little different—Cookie Butter Crumble, Purple Mountain Majesty, and Mazel Toff are all crowd favorites. 🐣 Fort Collins Is in Full Easter Mode This Weekend

🐣 Fort Collins Is in Full Easter Mode This Weekend

If your weekend plans could use a little more candy, bunny sightings, and family chaos in the best way, Fort Collins has you covered. Easter weekend around town is shaping up to be a solid mix of classic egg hunts, local scavenger fun, and a few easy ways to keep the kids entertained without having to overthink it. Basically: baskets ready, camera charged, and maybe don’t wear white to the egg hunt.

Here’s what’s happening around Fort Collins for Easter weekend:

FREE Easter EGGstravaganza

This one’s a strong pick if you want the full Easter-event package in one stop. The FREE Easter EGGstravaganza at 900 E Prospect Rd runs Saturday, April 4 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and packs in way more than just eggs. Expect an egg hunt, crafts, face painting, and an arcade-style prize exchange, which honestly feels like a nice upgrade from the usual “grab candy and go” setup.

Meet the Easter Bunny at Jessup Farm

If your ideal Easter activity involves cute spring vibes and a solid bunny photo op, head to Heyday Boutique at Jessup Farm on Saturday, April 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s an easy one for families who want something festive without committing to a huge event, and Jessup Farm always makes everything feel a little more charming.

Great 2026 Egg Scavenger Hunt

For the kids who treat egg hunts like a competitive sport, the Great 2026 Egg Scavenger Hunt adds a little more adventure. Running March 7 through April 5 at Fort Collins Marketplace, this self-guided hunt sends families searching for 30 painted eggs scattered throughout the area. It’s a fun option if you want to stretch the Easter energy beyond one morning and turn it into a mini mission.

Easter Brunch Plans

And for the grown-ups wondering what comes after all the sugar and sprinting, Easter brunch is also on the table. Spots like The Melting Pot are offering special Easter dining, giving families a chance to trade the plastic eggs for cheese, chocolate, and a meal someone else made. Which, depending on your week, may be the real holiday miracle.

Fort Collins really does Easter well: a little wholesome, a little chaotic, and full of reasons to get out of the house. Whether you’re chasing eggs, snapping bunny pics, or just showing up for brunch, there’s enough happening this weekend to make it feel festive without needing a full itinerary.
