We ran a poll asking what kind of new public art installations you’d love to see in downtown Fort Collins—and the results are in. And honestly? Y’all have good taste.

🟨 33% want mural walls — Because who doesn’t love a vibrant backdrop for your next Old Town Insta post? Between the technicolor honeybee on Linden and the giant piano keys near Oak Street Plaza, FoCo’s mural game is already strong… but clearly, you want more.

🟨 33% voted for community art projects — Think interactive sidewalk chalk zones, rotating art boxes like the ones along Mason Street, or collaborative mosaic walls. You love art that brings people together, and we’re here for it.

🟨 17% picked interactive sculptures — The kind you can touch, spin, or maybe even climb on (gently). Like the musical flower sculptures near Oak Street Plaza or the gear-heavy kinetic art on Mountain Ave.

🟨 17% said light installations — Imagine LED-lit arches, projection mapping on alley walls, or glowing sculpture gardens à la Gardens on Spring Creek during the holidays…but year-round.
