Hey everyone, Ben here.

I just spent the last few days going through the hundreds of responses from our end-of-year survey, and I genuinely want to say thank you. The feedback, the honesty, and the thought you all put into it meant a lot.

One thing that came up over and over again was how helpful the newsletters have become. That’s honestly why I do this. It started as a way for me to find things to do and places to explore locally, and it’s turned into something we all use together as a community.

A common piece of feedback I saw was wanting to see more events. I want to share how I think about that. I’m very intentional about keeping the emails short and easy to read, ideally something you can skim while drinking your morning coffee without it getting cold. Instead of turning the newsletter into a long list of links, the event calendar is where the full list lives.

Speaking of the event calendar, I’ve made some meaningful updates recently to make it easier to use. You can now view events in a list format, get more info at a glance, and see the type of event more clearly. I also added the ability to favorite events, which lets you see if others in the community are interested in the same thing. It’s not a perfect signal, but it’s a nice way to get a sense of what’s catching people’s attention.

Another thing I heard loud and clear was that many of you like how short and to the point the emails are. I promise to keep it that way. Your time matters, and the last thing I want is to compete with your coffee.

Looking ahead to 2026, I also saw interest around local deals and discounts. I’m actively working on this, and I’d love your input on where you’d actually want discounts from. What I love might not be what you love, so your answers here will help me focus on the right places.

I really appreciate all of you and I’m excited to keep growing this community and providing more value for you and your family. If you ever want to chat, you can always reply to this email or use the chat on the website.

One last question for you. Would you be interested if we hosted some community events in 2026? Let me know in the poll below.
