🎉 Longmont’s 2026 Event Outlook (So Far)

The 2026 calendar is still stretching its legs, but a few standout events are already locked in — and they feel very us: creative, community-first, and a little quirky in the best way. Here’s what’s confirmed so far, plus the annual favorites that tend to pop up once dates are finalized.

🌙 LunaFest ’26 — The Big One

June 15–22, 2026

The headline event of the year is the return of LunaFest, back after a brief hiatus and ready to go bigger.

  • 📍 Grossen Bart Brewery

  • 🎶 A full week of music, art, and community energy

  • 🌈 Centering LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC artists

  • 🎟️ NOTAFLOF ticketing — all proceeds go directly to artists

  • 🍔 Food trucks, local vendors, immersive art installations

If LunaFest 2024 was any indication, this will be one of those “remember where you were” Longmont weeks.

🏙️ Annual Downtown Favorites (Dates TBD)

While not all 2026 dates are confirmed yet, these staples reliably return:

  • 🎸 Winter Walkabout Music ShowcaseFeb 7, 2026 confirmed

  • 🍷 Wine Walks & seasonal Downtown events

  • 🎭 Day of the Dead celebrations

  • 👗 Dress Up Downtown

  • 🎶 Summer concert series

These are the events that make downtown feel alive year-round.

🎨 Creative District Energy (All Year)

As a Certified Creative District, Longmont keeps things buzzing with:

  • Weekly live music at local breweries and bars

  • Art classes and exhibits at Firehouse Art Center

  • Comedy nights, open mics, book clubs, and workshops

You don’t always need a festival weekend — sometimes it’s just a Tuesday night with live music and friends.
