Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like — a full weekend dedicated to alpacas. Expect rows of these gentle, fluffy charmers plus local farms selling alpaca-made goods like yarn, raw fleece, scarves, hats, socks, and all the cozy things your late-winter self deserves.

Curious how alpacas differ from llamas? (You’re not alone.) Educational classes run both days so you can level up your random-animal-facts game. It’s wholesome, it’s family-friendly, and it’s one of those “only in Colorado” weekends that feels very Longmont.
