🎩 Step Into Longmont’s Past—Callahan House Open House!

Thursday, July 24 | 5–7 PM @ 312 Terry St.

Want to time-travel without the steampunk goggles? Swing by the Summer Open House at Callahan House, one of Longmont’s most elegant hidden gems.

What’s The Callahan House?

The Callahan House, built in 1892, is a cherished Victorian-era gem gifted to the City of Longmont in 1938 by Thomas and Alice Callahan—successful local merchants known for their generosity and civic spirit. Designed in the elegant Queen Anne style, the home reflects the refined tastes of its original owners, with ornate woodwork, stained glass windows, and French-inspired interiors. Over the decades, it has served as a venue for community events, private celebrations, and historic tours, preserving the legacy of the Callahans while offering a gracious space for generations to enjoy.

At the Open House, you’ll:

  • Stroll through the historic home at your own pace (self-guided with handouts).

  • Learn about new ways to get involved with preservation programs.

  • Daydream about hosting your next garden party or fairy-tale wedding right here.

No RSVP needed. Just show up, soak up the history, and maybe fall a little bit in love with Longmont all over again 💐

PS: The gardens are open to the public when not booked for events—perfect for a quiet lunch break or an impromptu photo shoot.
