Arvada Kite Festival set for Sunday, April 12, 2026 The Arvada Kite Festival is the City of Arvada's flagship event hosted each spring by the Arvada Festivals Commission. Join us to celebrate 21 years of high-flying fun in 2026!   Soaring kites! Colorful kites! Majestic kites! There’s no better way to celebrate spring than the Arvada Kite Festival. Bring your own kite or buy a kite at the event. Plan to spend the day flying kites, shopping local vendors, eating great food and listening to good music. Bring your chairs or blankets and plan on staying the day.  Kite Festival Activities Kite demonstrations by the Rocky Mountain Kite Association Over 100 local vendor booths More food trucks this year than ever! Free kids activities: face painting and inflatables The Denver Museum of Nature and Science's Discovery Station   Nurf Terf Zone Make-A-Kite Classes are offered by the Majestic View Nature Center on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11 Parking Information Parking gates will open at 10:45 a.m. Parking is first come, first served. Don't forget we'll have free bike valet by Bike Friendly Arvada. Ride your bike to the event and avoid stressing about parking! Pets and BBQ grills not allowed at this event. Read more
