Musical director and conductor Jon Borodach has selected special music for our 48th season opener. • Liberty Fanfare – John Williams / transcribed by Jay Bocook – Narrated by Boulder Mayor Aaron Brockett. • A New Birth of Freedom – Randol Alan Bass Narrated by Boulder Mayor Aaron Brockett. • Rhapsody in Blue – George Gershwin / transcribed by Marco Tamanini - We will be joined by piano soloist Katie Hughes, staff collaborative pianist, UNC School of Music.
