Colorado Brazil Fest is excited to present on August 6th an unforgettable evening of Brazilian Jazz, headlined by acclaimed guitarist Gabriel Santiago. Performing a mix of his original compositions and special arrangements of Brazilian jazz classics, Gabriel will be joined by an outstanding band featuring Peter Stoltzman on keyboard, Gonzalo Teppa on bass, and Adriano Santos on drums. This dynamic ensemble brings together Brazilian rhythms, jazz improvisation, and melodic sophistication for a night of incredible music and vibrant energy. Opening the evening is the enchanting vocalist Elisa Garcia, whose music celebrates the rich folk traditions of Latin America. Accompanied by her husband, acclaimed percussionist Leo Munoz Corona, and pianist Victor Mestas, Elisa's ensemble takes audiences on a musical journey across the continent. Drawing from traditions such as Cuban boleros, Brazilian choros and sambas, Mexican huapangos, and Uruguayan candombe, their performance blends heartfelt storytelling, rhythmic vitality, and cultural diversity into a warm and un forgettable experience.
