About This Event

The Christian Science Monitor is a Pulitzer Prize winning newspaper founded on the principle of values-based reporting. At CSMonitor.com, you can search for news according to values such as compassion, cooperation, trust, hope, resilience, and so forth. Each month we're hosting a discussion group based on approaching news with these values. We hope to discover ways in which to help our news-focused society find agency instead of apathy and discouragement. We want to answer the question, "what can we do about it?" We want to be able to walk away from a news article with a sense of hope and agency, and we how that you can help us in this discovery.
