On Wednesday, April 23 from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm (MT), NSF NCAR presents the premiere of Gathered in Darkness, a film about the CATE 2024 project that brought community and professional scientists into partnership to study our Sun’s corona during the 2024 total solar eclipse. Afterwards, hear from lead scientists Amir Caspi and Sarah Kovac from the Southwest Research Institute, NSF NCAR’s Paul Bryans, and filmmaker and NSF NCAR educator Daniel Zietlow about the project and documenting a large-scale effort like CATE 2024.
