These dynamic women, with a combined 16 years of experience on the road with Irish American supergroup Gaelic Storm, bring with them a wealth of stage and studio expertise. Eric Thorin, a twice Grammy-nominated bassist, and Jeff Lindblade, a gifted guitarist, provide the rhythmic foundation and rousing song stylings. Formed in 2020, the group quickly gained recognition, receiving rave reviews for their virtual festival appearances commissioned by the Spanish Peaks Irish Festival and the Pittsburgh Irish Festival. A year later they met in person for the first time on the main stage at the Pittsburgh Irish Festival, debuting their stunning original compositions, rich harmonies, and driving traditional tunes and songs specifically orchestrated for their triple-fiddle, guitar, and double bass lineup. In 2023, the Bow Tides released their debut album, “Sailing On,” a trove of gorgeous original compositions and carefully orchestrated traditional tunes from Ireland, Scotland, and Galicia. The album has been critically acclaimed by artists such as Liz Carroll and has propelled the group on a thrilling journey, headlining festivals across the United States, including the prestigious Milwaukee and Kansas City Irish Festivals.About Alexa Wildish:Colorado singer-songwriter Alexa Wildish grew up in a musical family in the horse country of Southern California, where her father collected vintage guitars and she studied classical voice from age seven.
