About This Event
MahlerFest 38 is a 5-day musical celebration in Boulder featuring Mahler’s Sixth Symphony, exploring themes of defiance, protest, and remembrance through various musical expressions. Led by conductor Kenneth Woods, the festival showcases works by Martinu, Still, Korngold, and Ullmann, performed by the MahlerFest Orchestra and acclaimed soloists. Events include open rehearsals, masterclasses, dinners, and free concerts, culminating in exhilarating moments of courage and determination from May 14 to May 18 at Macky Auditorium and other Boulder locations.
