About This Event
The Boulder Chamber Orchestra’s 2025–2026 Mini-Chamber Series opens with a vibrant tribute to French musical brilliance, marking 150 years since the birth of Maurice Ravel. This elegant program features masterworks by Debussy, Poulenc, Milhaud, and Ravel, brought to life by Artist-in-Residence Andrew Cooperstock. He is joined by BCO's own outstanding artists: clarinetist Kellan Toohey, violinist Hilary Castle, and cellist Joseph Howe. Program: Claude Debussy (1862–1918) ”Clair de Lune” from Suite Bergamasque, L. 75 (1890, rev. 1905) Francis Poulenc (1899–1963) Sonata for Clarinet and Piano, FP 184 (1962) Darius Milhaud (1892–1974) Suite for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano, Op. 157b (1936) Maurice Ravel (1875–1937) Trio for Violin, Cello, and Piano (1914)
