About This Event
A LESSON IN BREAKING AWAY FROM THE TRADITIONAL ROUTE TO FOLLOW ONE’S HEART + AN EXCLUSIVE SCREENING OF HIS NEW FILM “FEEDING THE RAT” Join Pete Stetina in this homecoming presentation. Born and raised in Boulder to one of its original cycling couples of the 80s, Pete takes us from growing up as an aspiring athlete in Boulder, being fostered by the city’s resources and cycling community, to eventually turn Pro on the world’s biggest stage. We will follow the arc of Pete’s career from growing up a talented youngster in Boulder, to racing the Tour de France, and eventually shocking the cycling world in a departure from road to pursue a novel discipline called “gravel”. We’ll hear about the trials and tribulations he faced in trailblazing a new space within pro sport. Lastly, we’ll cap off the evening with an exclusive screening of his new short film “Feeding the Rat”.
