Join us at the Museum of Boulder for "Queerness in Communities of Color," where a panel of esteemed speakers will share their insights as LGBTQ+ individuals of color in academia, politics, and community leadership. Hear from Kristie Soares, an Associate Professor and performance artist focusing on queerness in Caribbean and Latinx communities. Leslie Herod, a two-term Representative, advocates for criminal justice reform and civil rights. Ray Rodriguez, a "Gaytino" activist, promotes inclusive environments for all. Tamora Tanniehill, a Licensed Professional Counselor, works with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore diverse perspectives and experiences within the LGBTQ+ community of color.
