Working on a Building features Colorado-based folk trio Salomé Songbird in an intimate concert combining beautiful vocal harmonies with unflinching explorations of the internal landscapes we all navigate. The trio—Ariele Macadangdang, Joy Adams, and Bryan Dubrow—draws from diverse musical backgrounds spanning jazz, pop, and bluegrass to create intricate acoustic arrangements that serve as what they have called "an outlet for rage in a very sweet way." Their original compositions transmogrify the full spectrum of human experience—love, pain, fear, loathing, joy, and anxiety—into songs that balance our internal worlds against the environments in which we must all perform as some version of ourselves. Salomé Songbird creates music that inspires reflection on emotions and experiences too intense to face directly.
