33rd Annual Furry Scurry

About This Event

The Furry Scurry is an annual, pet-friendly, fun-filled festival and two-mile dog walk at Denver’s Washington Park to benefit the animals in our care. This year, people can gather in person on Saturday, May 2 OR walk from afar between now and May 11 (although we hope you’ll choose May 2 for your “virtual” stroll)! No matter where you scurry, every step you take and dollar you raise will make a lasting difference for the animals in our care. To celebrate our 33rd year, we’re offering a range of fun activities we know you’ll love – from contests to food truck fare. If a remote experience is more your style, you can register and walk the two miles wherever you wish with a canine or feline friend by your side! Furry Scurry registration fees and donations transform the lives of vulnerable pets and horses in our care and across Colorado. We provide high-quality care to more than 40,000 animals each year, with most of our funding coming from generous supporters like you. Fundraisers like the Furry Scurry are essential for us to continue our shelter, rehabilitation, veterinary, and community services for the animals and people who need us most.
