Art Crawl: Ready, Set, Grow!

About This Event

Art Crawl is a program designed to offer infants (newborns through 14 months) and their caregivers an opportunity to experience art, build relationships, and learn together. Surrounded by Clyfford Still’s expansive body of work, Museum educators will lead participants through the galleries and provide provocations based on art exploration. Your guide will encourage an interactive discussion on the importance of introducing your baby to art at an early age and provide tips for experiencing art together. We encourage you to let your infant explore, follow their lead, and observe what they are drawn to. This is the best foundation for discussing and experiencing the joy of art together! The adventure of growing is all around us! We will explore how Clyfford Still’s work changed and grew from his early 20s through the last year he painted. We will go out on our terraces to experiment with plant materials and take home your very own seedling! Space is limited, and pre-registration is required (you must purchase a Museum admission ticket or register with your CSM membership during online registration).
