Children and Family Workshop: The Strange and Unusual World of Carnivorous Plants

About This Event

Did you know there are over 700 recognized species of carnivorous plants? Join us as we explore the Venus flytrap and some of its lesser known friends and learn about the intriguing adaptations that help them survive. Each participant plants carnivorous plants in a miniature bog garden to take home.  Family workshops offer families a hands-on guided classroom experience to learn about the science and enchantment behind the plants in our everyday lives and explore the natural world.
