About This Event

Sphere Ensemble Presents “Eat Your Music” – A Feast for the Ears Sphere Ensemble invites audiences to savor an auditory feast with Eat Your Music, a whimsical concert and special fundraising event taking place May 30th at the First Universality Church of Denver and May 31 at the Broomfield Auditorium. This lively season finale explores the playful intersection of food and sound through a vibrant mix of repertoire inspired by culinary delights. The program features Divertimento by Béla Bartók, Three Pieces in the Form of a Pear by Erik Satie, and La Revue de cuisine by Bohuslav Martinů, alongside other delectable music inspired by fruits, drinks, desserts, and other sonic treats. Sphere’s musicians bring fresh interpretations to these flavorful works, highlighting the humor, charm, and inventiveness of each piece. From the delicate textures of Satie to original arrangements of the Beatles, Rufus Wainwright, and Raffi , the concert spans genres and eras, transforming everyday tastes into extraordinary musical experiences. Eat Your Music also marks the culmination of Sphere Ensemble’s 2025-2026 season and invites audiences to connect more directly with the organization’s mission. Guests can enjoy light refreshments and participate in a silent auction featuring gift cards, delectable treats and specialty items from across the metro area. Proceeds from the event support Sphere’s upcoming artistic initiatives, including recording a new album, expanding community engagement initiatives, and increasing investment in musician compensation. Audiences can expect a vibrant, imaginative performance where whimsy meets virtuosity—a sensory banquet of sound that entertains, delights, and leaves listeners hungry for more.
