About This Event

NKollectiv presents “Found Narratives,” an exhibition featuring Hugh Daly and Victoria Eubanks, on view June 4 - 28, 2026, at 3485 S. Broadway. Daly’s art weaves intricate, color-filled composites of collage and painted images, while many of Eubanks’ pieces reflect themes of abstracted vines and grasses. Both artists interpret ephemeral ideas —a memory, a daydream, a place in time, a moment—captured through physical media, inviting the viewer to discover a narrative. The public is invited to view the show during regular gallery hours as listed and during the following special events: Saturday, June 13 Artist Reception 4–8 p.m., during Englewood’s Second Saturday Saturday, June 20  Both artists on site, 1-4 p.m. A layered printmaking demo by Victoria Eubanks, 2 p.m.  Sunday, June 28  Last Look, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Both artists on site, 1–4 p.m. Artist Talk, 2 p.m. Although they barely knew each other, Daly and Eubanks were paired together for this show as members of NKollectiv. They quickly found that their creative approach is remarkably similar. Both interpret transient ideas through tangible items. They both work in layers, letting the art lead the way, discovering the piece and the story as it unfolds.     Daly’s mixed media paintings consist of paint, collage, line and intentional layering to express a narrative. Snippets from old magazines and newspapers are embedded in his abstract compositions, along with representational imagery that he uses to discover and interpret a unique message.    Eubanks combines encaustic medium, printmaking, photography, cold wax and sometimes pixels, in a variety of ways. Her paintings offer intentional shapes—leaves, houses, chairs, birds, all roughly rendered and reminiscent of something you can’t quite put your finger on. She embraces the messy inconsistencies and human touch inherent in her creations. Open Tuesday–Saturday: 11 a.m.– 6 p.m., Sunday: 11 a.m.– 4 p.m. Extended hours until 8 p.m. every Second Saturday
