This peaceful mountain sanctuary offers guests the rare opportunity to experience the excitement, beauty, and serenity of hundreds of hummingbirds up close in an intimate mountain setting. Experience the joy of hummingbirds zipping, hovering, and feeding all around you, with private access to an observation deck and 2-miles of Colorado nature trails. Throughout the season, three different species of hummingbirds visit the sanctuary, darting through the trees, hovering near guests, and feeding throughout the property. Many visitors describe the experience as magical, calming, and unlike anything they’ve experienced before. Guests are invited to relax on the main observation deck beside our famous “hummingbird trees,” explore nearly 2 miles of private nature trails, unwind near scenic rock outcroppings, or sit quietly beside the seasonal stream while birds zip overhead.
