Lowry Beer Garden Walking Tour

Join the Denver Architecture Foundation for a tour of Lowry Beer Garden, a vibrant adaptive reuse project in the heart of the historic Lowry neighborhood. Once part of the former Lowry Air Force Base, the beer garden sits between two iconic 1939 Air Force hangars, converting Denver’s aviation past into a current community gathering space. Participants will explore how City Street Investors transformed a historic military site into a lively social destination. The tour will also examine the evolution of the surrounding campus: one hangar now houses the renowned Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, and the adjacent “Hangar 2” features offices, retail, and commercial spaces.
