Celebrating 25 Years of Good, Clean, and Fair Food Join us on Saturday, June 6, for a day of sweetness, community, and impact! 2026 marks a major milestone for our organization: Slow Food Denver is officially turning 25! For a quarter-century, our chapter has worked to reconnect the Denver community with the people, traditions, and ecosystems that produce our food. From cultivating the next generation of food leaders through our Seed to Plate youth program to honoring local sustainability through the Snail of Approval, we are incredibly proud of the roots we’ve grown in Colorado’s food system. To celebrate, we’re bringing together Denver's most talented bakers, chefs, and supporters for the ultimate community bake sale. How the Event Works: To keep the celebration simple and fun, the event will run on a Token System. Purchase your entry ticket and tokens in advance or at the door to unlock all the day has to offer: Sweet & Savory Treats: Exchange tokens for artisanal baked goods, pastries, and breads from Denver’s top bakers. Sips by Dulce Coffee Co.: Pair your treats with fresh coffee, matcha, and tea, or grab a whimsical Unicorn Lemonade! Live Music: Enjoy local live music while you stroll, snack, and socialize. Sunprints Art Activity: Join artist Faith Williams Dyrsten for a hands-on cyanotype activity exploring the beauty of plants and pollinators. Using sunlight, stencils, fresh flowers, and herbs, you'll create an original sunprint inspired by nature’s interconnected systems. All materials are provided – just bring your curiosity and leave with your own unique artwork! Colorado Milled Flour to Go: Take a piece of the local food system home with you with locally milled Colorado flour. Garden & Kitchen Rummage Sale: Browse a curated selection of unique finds and kitchen treasures. Grand Prize Giveaway: Use a token for a chance to win our Anniversary Prize Pack, featuring a $150 King Arthur Baking Company gift card, exclusive Slow Food swag, and more.
