About This Event
A human life is little more than a moment in time, yet we build our cities, our homes, our lives as though permanence matters. We imagine ourselves to be central to the systems we build, apart from nature rather than a part of the world around us. Building becomes a way of negotiating our impermanence, leaving marks that reach beyond a single lifetime.
