Windy & Carl have spent 30 years building a quietly foundational body of work — long-form ambient pieces, primarily guitar-driven, that wander through cinematic instrumental territory, dreampop, and shoegaze. After signing to kranky in 1998 and touring the US and Europe, the duo stepped away from live performance in 2012. Now they're back, writing and recording again, and performing live. Ritger and Weathers open the evening with extended technique free improvisation electro-acoustic wizardry.
