About This Event
Immerse yourself in "Quickening: Aesthetic Encounters and the Ecological Imagination" at Hatton Gallery, featuring works by Sofia Crespo, Timur Si-Qin, and Erin Espelie that awaken ecological consciousness through innovative visual mediums. This immersive video exhibition showcases custom-trained machine learning, 3D simulation, and Super 8mm film in a state-of-the-art environment to deepen viewers' connection to planetary biodiversity. Led by Director Xinran Yuan, the program transforms the gallery into a space for community exchange on pressing contemporary issues. Supported by Colorado State University and the City of Fort Collins, this exhibition marks the program's second year, offering a unique exploration of art, technology, and ecological awareness.
