About the exhibit and the artist The Reckoning- Britni Mara The Reckoning is Mara’s ongoing personal and collective account of how systems imprint onto lived experience, and how individuals navigate complacency, resistance, and vulnerability within those systems. Each mark reflects political fracture and emotional spill, both unresolved and uncontained. Gestures interrupt, push back, and resist absorption, suggesting that even within overwhelming systems, disruption and agency remain possible.
